This marked my third collaboration with director André Forcier and producer Linda Pinet. We reused the distinctive yellow already present in Les fleurs oubliées, which here becomes a defining color for the film. Set at the time of the Refus global, the film explores the craft of bookmaking, naturally guiding the choice of a typeface with a strong “printed book” character for the title. In this ensemble cast film, the end credits play creatively with the actors’ names piling up, timed to the rhythm of the film’s original score.
